Affordability and amenities go hand-in-hand at Movado Greens by Blackrock Homes

Nowadays, there’s more opportunities to purchase a home in Meridian in the $450k – $500k range, than there were earlier this year. Not that long ago, it was a stretch to find new homes with coveted amenities such as a neighborhood pool, multiple playgrounds, etc. in a close-in Meridian location for less than $500k. All of that has changed as our cooling market has softened things up across our valley, including Movado Greens.

Home price comparisons between first half 2022 and today

Like other builders in our region, Blackrock Homes made price adjustments to their current inventory. For Movado Greens, it occurred in early July. As two-story construction moved along Sportivo Drive, the larger homesites resulted in slightly higher list prices. The Biltmore, Sedona and Mesa models were all priced at $529,900. The Tucson, being the largest plan as 1,925 s.f., was priced at $534,900. With little absorption in 60 days, all existing model homes were reduced in price by $50,000 – $60,000 on July 5. All in all, it was a rare occurrence as Movado had not had price reductions of any sort since opening their doors in 2018.
