As crews finish the last (2) two-story homes in phase 2, it is exciting to see phase 3 is bursting with activity. Located along the east side of Movado Way, this final phase is highlighted by a wonderful playground with plenty of places to slide, climb and swing. The first wave of homes in phase 3 include two single-level attached homes, and one single level stand alone home. Remarkably, Blackrock Homes has already released completion dates on these homes, despite being +/- 60 days out. Several others, including a two-story home are underway as well and will likely be released in mid summer.
Blackrock has been able to stay on track with their completion dates throughout the covid era, much to everyone’s surprise except perhaps those that are aware of the finely-tuned systems within the organization. Blackrock has navigated the pandemic-era well, amid product delays, rising lumber costs and subcontractors straining to keep up. By not releasing their homes for purchase until one to two weeks before completion, they manage costs and avoid any need for guesswork or potential over-pricing. More importantly, expectant homeowners have the ability to tour the homes before purchasing to determine if the floor plan and color scheme will work for them.
